This past month the SurvTech Solutions Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) department acquired the brand new Carlson BRx7 GNSS Receiver. These new retrievers feature "multiple wireless communication ports and an open GNSS interface." according to the official Carlson Equipment and Software website.
Improved Position Sensing
Our department is most excited about the BRx&'s ability to accurately maintain a fixed position even with heavy trees or vegetation and or next to 2 stories and up buildings. This feature is a significant improvement as the older equipment would drop fix anytime we got near the area or sneezed hard enough.
With these technological advancements, the team can save time and avoid most of the everyday needs for return trips or asking other departments for help. Our SUE department can provide the most profit possible and deliver accurate data to our clients with this equipment.
Accuracy on the Go
In addition to the accuracy, the RT4 data collectors are on a tablet, so they are super easy to interpret and function. Yeilding the fastest results possible!
